Hi Pan, that's a great question, and the answer is that everything is drawn by the irreplaceable Emily Chan. If you haven't seen her other work - like StupidFox - I highly recommend it. We intentionally did the two styles to separate what's in Anna's head and what's in Anna's reality. That's for checking out the strip!

Are the people and the creatures/animals drawn by different people in this comic? Because they look quite different styles... the creatures look very varied and cartoonish (in a good way), and the people all kind of look like barbie dolls... I'm not trying to complain, each to his own, and I'm not a fantastic artist myself, I'm just curious.

Yes, I agree, Mr. thelastnerd! We tried another approach, and I don't think anyone here (or out there) liked it -- so now that comic has been replaced! I am going to link to the old one in the update, just in case people want to see what could have been... :) Also, I'm working on redoing #72 as well, which I hope to replace soon.

Ok, I wasn't going to say anything, as it is *your* comic and you're free to do as you like with it, but it's driving me nuts so I have to ask: Why did you change the font? Do you actually *like* the universally italicized look and periods that look like underscores?

Not to have only bad things to say, I particularly like the Slumper dialog today; it's good to see more specific negativity than just, "You're lame and nobody likes you." And I think this is a pretty interesting conversation you've got going on here, as well a nice way to tell us all a bit about the characters' personalities.

Also, this gives me the impression that Zoey has either an age difference or a different cultural background from the rest of the students, that would help her become detached.

I don't think I knew any Zoeys in high school, even the people who were nice to me were quite gossipy about others, they seemed stable but I caught them being Hot Messes quite often.
However, I think I've taken a Zoey attitude. It feels great =D Negative thoughts about other people only poison you...

Hot Messes. Haha I can't say I'm that sure of myself, but I definitely don't let others' negativity get to me. So I'm almost at Zoey's level. Of course, I'm not in high school anymore, and its a lot harder to not be a mess in that place.

It would be interesting to see what little voices Zoey has in her head. I imagine she listens to her equivalents of Scooziecat, Momur and Rafella quite a bit.
