Actually, when we wanted to place this strip here in the story, Emily thought of this too (that’s how good she is) – this strip was actually written and drawn a few months ago, and we didn’t know exactly where it would end up. Storywise, we liked it here as we gain momentum toward the end of the school day – and finally see these characters in the outside world – so I came up with the “off camera” excuse to cover us. I hope it (almost) worked! Very good catch,
