I absolutely LOVE Emily’s design for The BC. Its hits that perfect mix between “local hangout” and “cheesy chain restaurant”. I can easily imagine a Burger Cove next to an Applebee’s or a T.G.I Fridays.

You got a seriously awesome webcomic here! The concept is great and original. The art is amazing and expressive, and very well done. The writing is good. The animals are all believable and expressive. Their personalities really shine through and I could swear I’ve met a person for everyone of them! The only thing that could make this better is working on the people themselves. To me, they lack the little quirks that make people original and human. They’re a bit static and flat. I understand their character, but not exactly why they do what they do. Like, why is Bethany so mean to everyone to such a ridiculous extent. Most mean girls aren’t that openly mean without a decent reason to be. From what I’ve seen, most work in the shadows to make peoples’ lives miserable.
Anywho, this is a great comic and I can only see a greater future to come! Keep up the awesome work! ^^

I think that’s because it’s the high-school life, seen from an high-schooler. When you were in highschool, you didn’t pay a lot of attention to the depth the people around you had, didn’t you? They all were … well, flat. There was the friend, the geek, the stupid, the mean one. People tend to flatten other people, since they can’t comprehend their full character and/or motivations. I found this tendency to be greater when you’re younger.
Oh, and Bethany IS going stealthy. She didn’t exactly yell around she got the photo at the very moment she got her hands on it, mainly because her goal is making people think Anne agreed to that photo shoot. Let’s see how she manages to do that.

Okay, seriously, I love this comic but if it’s dead please let us know. If you guys aren’t going to update again please say something so I can remove this bookmark from my list. I’m not going to waste my time coming back every day to a dead webcomic.

Man people, you’re not paying for this, you’re getting the entertainment for free while the creators put a lot of effort into putting it together for you. So it doesn’t come out as often as you might like. Stop complaining, it’s not YOUR creative work after all, it’s theirs.

I’m with Fribble on this one, and I especially like his miniature sword. It reminds me of a tiny little Slovak saber. Even if Slumper were right (and I’m not saying he is), there’s no telling how much you can gain if you’re willing to fight for it. (Choose your battles wisely and well.)
